I used to love picking things up in the forest and burning them in the campfire -
Hearing the crackles, seeing the sparks pop into the air.
It's harder to go camping in the city now, so I tried to recreate that feeling with this game.

You've managed to gamify ethnolichenology (the study of the relationship between lichens and people)! I was really wowed by the clever use of hacks and audio to elevate the Bitsy game and cast a mood. Awesome job!

Oh wow, I didn't know that was actually a thing XD
Thanks for the comment and for sharing about ethnolichenology, it was interesting to read about the other uses of lichen, haha!

i loved this! It was so well made and the attention to detail/intricate gammeplay mechanics (the light changing in both the grabbing moss screens and walk, the sound effects, and the artwork/animations changing) were so well done and enjoyable :) really unique bitsy game.

Ahh thank you!!! It took some time to get the changing light mechanic to work as intended, but I'm super proud of it :D
